THE TERRACE DINING ROOM The Phoenician 6000 E. Camelback Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85251 480-423-2530 Brunch Hours: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Overlooking a sparkling aquamarine pool, The Terrace Dining Room at The Phoenician resort is the ultimate in refinement and luxury. Dine alfresco on the patio or within the cool confines of the dining room on mouth-watering creations such as grilled eggplant and goat cheese lasagna grilled mushroom salad, or scallops with melon salsa. For dessert, partake of the chocolate cherry bread pudding. A carving station, salads and fruits are also available, as well as champagne and assorted beverages. A five-piece orchestra will serenade guests during the brunch.
Cost is $65 for adults, $25 for children 12 and under, plus tax and gratuity.

GOLDEN BELLE STEAKHOUSE Rawhide Wild West Town 23023 N. Scottsdale Road 480-502-5600 Brunch Hours: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The unique ambiance of this 1880s town, complete with shootouts and stagecoach rides, is a charming look back into life during the Wild West period. Brunch fixin's include fresh fruits, salads, breakfast pastries, custom-made omelets, and a carving station featuring roasted pork and prime rib. Heavenly, fresh-from-the-oven biscuits and cornbread, as well as garlic-mashed potatoes, fresh veggies and homemade peach cobbler are just some of the brunch offerings y'all can enjoy.

THE STONE HOUSE PAVILION The Phoenix Zoo 455 N. Galvin Parkway Phoenix, AZ 602-914-4301 Brunch Hours: Two seatings - 10 a.m. and Noon Nestled atop a hillside and offering spectacular views of the Zoo and surrounding Papago Park brunch at The Stone House Pavilion is a family-friendly way to celebrate any occasion or simply to enjoy a day out. Dine on sesame pork with apple mango chutney, smoked tri-tip with tomato jam or herb-crusted turkey with cranberry mayonnaise, cooked-to-order omelets, and breakfast pastries and breads. Chocolate-dipped strawberries are also a big hit, and beverages include iced tea, milk, juices, tea and coffee. Admission to the Zoo is included in the brunch price, so you can walk off those chocolate-dipped strawberries and see some of the zoo moms show off their spring brood - most notably the new baby zebra.

VINCENT GUERITHAULT ON CAMELBACK 3930 E. Camelback Rd. Phoenix, AZ 602-224-0225 Brunch Hours: 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. This is where France meets the Southwest in an elegant and innovative manner. From the duck breast salad with raspberry olive oil dressing to the roasted leg of lamb with Anasazi beans, this champagne brunch is sure to be a hit. Try the seafood tamale with lobster sauce and corn salsa, the roasted veal lion with Chipolte paste and cilantro, or the grilled ribeye with whipped potatoes and green peppercorn sauce. Leave room for the mouth-watering desserts like raspberry mousse cake, hot chocolate tart and crème brulee with fresh berries and served in a sweet "taco" shell. Seafood platters heaped with mussels, clams, shrimp, oysters and citrus vodka five-herb salmon, carving stations featuring prime rib with black bean garlic glaze and herb-coated lamb with sherry lamb demi, spinach and garlic beef roulade and grilled vegetables don't even scratch the surface of the bounty here. Truffle-scented baby potatoes, butter braised French green beans, an omelet station, and fresh fruit are just preludes to the final touch - dessert. And that final touch includes mandarin orange mousse cake, praline expresso cake, French pastries, chocolate fudge mousse cake and an assortment of cookies and other delectable sweet treats. Gently rotating as you dine (the room makes one revolution an hour), you will be treated to a unique assortment of dishes. Try the Asian cooking station, featuring California rolls, sushi, Thai red curried chicken and vegetables and bamboo steamers filled with dim sum. Wicker furniture and antiques lend a cozy, welcoming air, and the 20-foot-long salad bar with more than 25 items is one of the best in the Valley. Known for its dim sum and seafood selections, the brunch here also features 1/2 of a live lobster for every brunch ordered. With more than 50 items on the buffet, including traditional Chinese offerings such as sweet and sour chicken, pork and shrimp, as well as a stunning array of seafood and fish, you will be more than happy with the selection and with the price. THE TERRACE RESTAURANT Wigwam Resort 300 Wigwam Blvd. Phoenix, AZ 623-935-3811 Brunch Hours: Three seatings - 10:30 - 11 a.m., 12:45 - 1:15 p.m., and 2:45 - 3:15 p.m. The history of the Wigwam and agricultural West Valley lend a southwestern charm and sense of permanence to The Terrace. Overlooking the main pool and lush grounds, the restaurant has an elegance that is refined yet welcoming. Part of the original structure, built in 1918 by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber as a private company lodge for visiting executives, stands as a reminder of the history of the area. This history blends well with the outstanding food selections, from the grilled sea bass to the New York strip. You will enjoy tender-crispy waffles, fluffy omelets, as well as lamb chops, pasta, salads, cheeses and fruits.
