The Present Moment Cafe is well known for consistently offering fresh and delicious raw, organic foods in a warm and relaxed atmosphere. The soothing and attractive decor here is accented by interesting artwork and comfortable furniture and the overall vibe is very friendly.
Serving what they refer to as Kind Cuisine, The Present Moment Cafe regularly offers a wide range of raw foods that are healthful and beneficial to the body and the environment. All dishes here are prepared with loving care and the freshest of locally grown ingredients. The creative and innovative raw food dishes are not only delicious, but they are also aesthetically pleasing. Service at this excellent eatery is always very good, portions are large and prices are quite reasonable.
Among the delicious raw appetizers and salads served at The Present Moment Cafe are Miso Soup Bowl, which is served warm, Oceania Sea Vegetables, a marinated seaweed salad and No - Bean Chili, served with Mexican "cheese", chips and cashew sour cream. Other starters here include the Crown of Caesar Salad, Present Moment Salad, a delightful kale and avocado salad, Holy Guacamole & Salsa and their no - bean hummus, made with cashews and mint oil.
The lunch menu at The Present Moment Cafe features items such as the Viva Burrito, made with pine nut - chili, walnut pate and guacamole, Tacos of Life, with pine nut - chili and walnut puree in romaine shells, Collard Wrap of the Day, Maki Sushi Roll with cup of Miso Soup, the Sunlight Burger, made with almond, sunflower, walnut, carrot and zucchini, the Land and Sea Salad Plate and Creamy White Truffle Pesto Pasta, made with fresh zucchini pasta and pine nut "parmesan". A bountiful Chef's Choice Lunch Sampler Platte is also available here.
Among the tasty dinner entrees served at The Present Moment Cafe are Mango Samosas, which are Indian curried vegetables in mango coconut wrappers, Herbed Nut Loaf & White Truffle Cream Pasta, Portabella Croquettes with Caesar Salad and Pad Thai, made with Asian vegetables, sea glass noodles, sesame sauce and curried cashews. A wonderful Dinner Sampler Platter is also available.
A nice selection of raw breakfast items are also served at The Present Moment Cafe. Among them are Peanut Butter & Jelly on French Meadow Hemp Bread, various bagels and breads and their Raw Breakfast Special, which consists of organic raw granola with fresh almond milk, with the options of additional fresh fruit and Blueberry Pancakes available.
Don't overlook the exquisite raw desserts served here. They include such delectable treats as Chocolate Marble Torte with Drunken Banana, Warm Live Pecan Apple Cobbler, Classic Banana Split, Blueberry Parfait, Brownie Sundae, Cashew Vanilla Ice Cream and a Dessert Sampler Platter.
