Nothing beats the eats at the original Genji, however. Genji signature sushi variations include the Northern Exposure (grilled salmon, avocado, asparagus, and romaine in a sushi roll, wrapped in a soybean sheet and topped with salmon roe) and the Kumamoto Oyster (Japanese oysters, served in the shell with ponzu sauce and topped with chili-radish and scallions). Genji also offers unique Japanese-French fusion dishes, such as White Tuna Tartare (cubed albacore tuna on a sushi rice bed, topped with mountain potato, a special Japanese pickle, snow crab, and wasabi flying fish roe served with a sea urchin-miso sauce and a balsamic vinaigrette sauce).
