I went to Radius because I heard it has great French cuisine. I asked about the Tasting Menu and they were not accommodating about substitutions so I decided to order off the menu. The food quality was good but the regular menu items were very small “tasting” portions. The worst of the experience was that the waiter was very snobby and never smiled. With all the great Boston restaurants to choose from, I will not be back.

If every dish I ever ate was as wonderful as they foie gras appetizer I had here, I’d think I had died and gone to heaven. This richest of meats was handsomely seared and served with a touch of sweetness via mixed fruits. Luckily I wasn’t paying, because at $26, it was the most expensive first course I’ve ever had. The monkfish was also quite good, tender tufts of the fish, and my host’s loup de mer was amazing, served in a caviar beurre blanc. One of the more unusual I’ve eaten is the olive oil cake here. Service is A-1, not surpisingly.
