I regret to report that a couple of well-known upscale restaurants in the area are now closed. Rosendale’s, formerly at 793 N. High Street, Columbus, in the Short North district of the city, closed in October. Handke’s Cuisine, 520 S. Front Street, in the Brewery District, went out of business in June. Both cited a decline in sales due to the recession for their demise. Both will be missed in this area.
